Camborne Town Band at the Royal Albert Hall for the 2009 National Finals
with Professional Conductor, Richard Evans.
Camborne Achieve Highest Nationals Result in 19 Years!
On Saturday 17th October 2009, Camborne Town Band competed in the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain at the famous Royal Albert Hall in London. Conducted by Richard Evans, they performed Peter Graham's 'The Torchbearer', and were delighted to be placed 8th out of 20 by adjudicators David King, Derek Broadbent and David Read - Camborne's highest placing at the contest since 1990!
