Steve, better known as Daisy, has been involved in banding for over 20 years now and most of that time was with Bodmin Town Band. He has played for various other bands up and down the country. He worked for quite a while with Doctor Nick Childs and Doyen Recordings where he travelled all over the world including Finland, Norway, Belgium, France, Denmark to name but a few. Many contests had seen him behind a trade stand selling the latest cd's from the top bands and he also followed a tour of the BBC Big Band! Steve has his own style of playing which draws the crowds and especially his biggest fan, Kevin Bragg, who loves watching him play - sometimes stopping playing himself! After a break from playing, 2009 has seen Steve's welcome return to banding at Camborne, a band that has been in his heart for many a year. Many reasons have prompted him to return to playing, including the man at the helm, Kevin Mackenzie, who has tight control, a great wealth of knowledge and excellent conducting skills.
